If you own an independently owned and operated business in the Bay Area and would like to participate in Plaid Friday. Please read the following:
Guidelines for participating in Plaid Friday:
While we support all small business ventures, Plaid Friday is designed to help promote the small brick and mortar businesses that are open to the public year round. The campaigns objective is to stimulate support for local business during the Holiday Shopping season and to foster new customers for elevated yearlong foot traffic and sales.
Is this business privately held and not publicly traded?
Does this business have six or less outlets?
Is the business an independent business, not affiliated with a national chain or franchise?
Does the business have a brick and mortar location that is open to the public?
If you answered yes to all of these questions than we are happy to extend an invitation to join the Plaid Friday movement.
